What is required to secure a lot?
Prior to signing a contract to purchase land at either Alkimos Beach and Alkimos Vista, a finance pre-approval letter from your bank or broker must be presented. After the contract has been signed, a $2,000 deposit is payable within 5 days. It is important to note by signing a contract you are entering into a legally binding contract.

Do I need to build my home within a certain time frame?
The latest date for practical completion of your home is 36 months (3 years) from settlement date.

Are there any restrictions on who I can build with?
There are no restrictions on who you can build with, meaning you can use any builder of your choice. There are also a number of featured builders in the Alkimos Beach display village who can offer house and land packages or home designs suitable to both Alkimos Beach and Alkimos Vista.

Are your communities Private Estates?
We are committed to delivering affordable housing, including supporting first time home buyers, downsizers and others into home ownership. This could include shared equity housing in cooperation with State Government or not-for-profit organisations, and housing and land packages that meet an affordable price point. Mechanisms to deliver affordable rentals are also being supported, although to date there have been no plans for social housing allocations at Alkimos Beach and Alkimos Vista.

When will there be schools and shops?
Great news! When you move to either Alkimos Beach or Alkimos Vista, you can enjoy established schools and shops.
Choose from two schools; Alkimos Beach Primary School (K-6) and St James’ Anglican School (currently K-9, and will expand to K-12 by 2021). The Gateway Shopping Precinct in centrally located on Marmion Avenue and has an IGA, medical centre, child care, gymnasium, specialty shops, child play centre, café and food outlets. A tapas restaurant and a family friendly tavern are planned for the near future.

How far is the beach and when will there be beach access?
Two beach accesses are currently open in Alkimos Beach. The North Beach access has the temporary Alkimos Surf Life Saving Club facility, picnic facilities, a lookout and sundeck. The carpark is approximately a short 120m walk from the beach itself. Our South Beach access is about 800m walk to the beach, winding through the natural sand dunes.
Land in Alkimos Beach is now selling less than 1km from the beach. Homes at Alkimos Vista are just a short 5 minute drive from the beaches at Alkimos Beach and neighbouring beaches.

When will the train line be extended?
The Joondalup line currently ends at Butler train station, only a few minutes’ drive from Alkimos Beach and Alkimos Vista. Government plans exist for a Yanchep extension including a train station at Alkimos, however delivery dates have not yet been confirmed. Is it mandatory to install solar panels and gas boosted solar HWS?
Yes, all homes require a minimum 1.5kW solar panel system, and homes in Alkimos Beach also required an energy efficient hot water system. The good news is that we provide customers with a sustainability rebate to contribute towards the cost of these items.
Alkimos Vista: All homes come with a $2,500^ Solar Panel Rebate.
Alkimos Beach: All homes come with an ‘Energy Smart Home Package’, which includes a $2,500^ rebate for a minimum 1.5kW solar panel system and up to $1,200^ to cover either a gas or electric boosted solar hot water system, or a heat pump. Do I need to install my solar panel system hot water system before I can receive my rebate?
Yes, the solar panel system and hot water system must be installed before you can claim your rebate. Refer to Annexure C in your contract of sale for more information.
