Three considerations when researching a new community

 

Sometimes it’s about location, often price is a factor, but what about the feeling you get?

 

When researching a new community to build your dream home in, consider if it’s a place where you and your family can truly live well, now and into the future.

 

One of the important steps when searching for your new home, is to take a drive through different communities and get a feel for what you like, and dislike, about certain locations.

 

Driving through a new development can be daunting, especially if the community is in its early stages, and there’s not much yet to see. But you can still get an understanding of how neighbourhoods are being planned and how you might live there one day.

 

Regional Sales Manager at Lendlease, Nimit Acharya, shared his tips for homebuyers looking to build a new home.

 

First on his list was, “Location, location, location!”

 

“A new master-planned community that is carefully thought out with future infrastructure and existing amenity such as schools, shops and parks, allows you to live in the here and now whilst planning for future capital growth,” said Nimit.

 

When you are thinking about building your dream home, make sure you spend some time looking for the right location that has what you need now, and is allowing for growth in the future.

Take some time to walk along the streets, sit in green spaces or visit the local café to get a sense of the place that you’ll call home.
