Rubbish & Waste Management 

The City of Wanneroo provide waste management services for Alkimos Beach and Alkimos Vista. The City’s website provides details on recycling, green waste, bin collection days and bulk waste pickups.  

Typical days for rubbish collection in Alkimos Beach and Alkimos Vista are Wednesdays.

Registering Your Pet 

The City of Wanneroo has specific laws in place regarding household pets.

Owners whose pets have wandered from home should ring the Animal Care Centre on 9405 5000 during office hours, or 1300 138 393 after hours to see if their pet has been impounded.

The City of Wanneroo has numerous community halls, clubrooms as well as parks and reserves which are used for a wide range of programs and events.  

To book a community centre, clubroom or park/sports ground, please contact the City in one of the following ways. The Bookings Office is open from Monday to Friday between 8.30am - 5.00pm.
