  • Prior to signing a contract to purchase land, a finance pre-approval letter from your bank or broker must be presented. After the contract has been signed, a $2,000 deposit is payable within 5 days. It is important to note by signing a contract you are entering into a legally binding contract.

  • The latest date for practical completion of your home is 36 months (3 years) from settlement date.

  • There are no restrictions on builders, meaning you can use any builder of your choice. There are also a number of featured builders in the Alkimos Beach display village who can offer house and land packages, or home designs that are tailored to the Alkimos Beach design guidelines.

  • Alkimos Beach is a premium coastal address with prices reflective of proximity to water and coastal views. We are committed to delivering affordable housing, including supporting first time home buyers, downsizers and others into home ownership. This could include shared equity housing in cooperation with State Government or not-for-profit organisations, and housing and land packages that meet an affordable price point. Mechanisms to deliver affordable rentals are also being supported, although to date there have been no plans for social housing at Alkimos Beach.

  • St James’ Anglican school in Alkimos Beach currently caters for kindergarten to year 6. By the seventh year of operation (2021), the school will offer all year levels from Kindergarten to Year 12. The Gateway retail precinct at Alkimos Beach will include a supermarket, childcare, tavern, medical centre, swim school and more. Construction is starting in 2015. The future Alkimos Beach City Centre will include a major shopping centre and business district and will be Perth’s only new city centre for the last 30 years.   • The beach is 2,305m from the roundabout at the corner of Marmion Avenue and Graceful Boulevard. Beach access is planned for 2015.

  • The Joondalup line currently ends at Butler train station, only a few minutes’ drive from Alkimos Beach. Government plans exist to extend the Alkimos Beach train station in future, however delivery dates have not yet been confirmed.

  • The land prices at Alkimos Beach have been set to allow a like for like comparison with building a similar designed home on flat land. i.e. The extra cost of building on slope has been deducted from the land price.

  • Yes, all homes at Alkimos Beach require a minimum 1kW solar panel system and a gas boosted hot water system. The Energy Smart Home Package provides up to $2,500 to cover the cost of a minimum 1kW solar panel system and up to $1,500 to cover the cost of upgrading to a gas boosted hot water system. Our Energy Smart Home Package is designed to help you target up to 44% of savings in your annual electricity bill–that’s over $1,000 per year for the average Perth family.

  • Yes, the solar panel system and gas boosted hot water system must be installed before you can claim your rebate. Refer to Annexure C in your contract of sale for more information.
