Don’t Keep History a Mystery

Don't Keep History a Mystery

National Reconciliation Week provides an opportunity for our communities to acknowledge and celebrate the proud heritage of Australia’s First People.

National Reconciliation Week 2018 is celebrated from May 27 to June 3. The week is bookended by two of the most significant dates in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, the successful 1967 referendum and the High Court Mabo decision.

The theme for National Reconciliation Week in 2018 is Don’t Keep History a Mystery. This year, all Australians are invited to Learn, Share, and Grow – by exploring our past, learning more about Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, and developing a deeper understanding of our national story.

Join us this National Reconciliation Week as we learn, share and grow together.
