Construction Update

Construction of the park at the entrance of The Rise in Stage 9 is now complete! The park features a play structure and two palm trees at the entry way that offers a sense of exclusivity that The Rise commands. If you would like to build your dream home on one of these exclusive lots, do not delay as only 9 lots remain!

The repair works of Bristle Bird Park are also now complete following the re-location of Sprout Community Hub to Alkimos Vista.

Marmion Ave Duplication

You may have noticed that the Marmion Ave duplication works have made their way down to Alkimos Beach. The City of Wanneroo are currently delivering these works that will provide two lanes both North and South bound to will help alleviate traffic congestion. The works will also include the removal of the roundabout at Graceful Boulevard to create a four-way intersection with traffic signals at the location, as well as a new ‘left in, left out’ exit/entry into the estate at Sanderling Street.

These works are scheduled for completion in November 2019.

Finished double-storey homes with ocean views

Have you viewed our completed double-storey homes on Providence Drive? These homes by Link Residential have been beautifully finished by the quality builder Express Two Storey Living. 3 bed x 2 bath designs are on display opposite Escarpment Park with wonderful ocean views from both ground floor and first floor.

Community News

The City of Wanneroo recently endorsed concept plans for a $1.4 million Sports Amenities Building at Leatherback Oval in Alkimos Beach. The new building will provide sporting clubs and groups with excellent amenity including changerooms, kiosk, toilets, storage and a 100m2 multipurpose room. Construction is due to commence end of 2019.

The Alkimos Pop Up Library will be relocating to a new bigger home at the end of June, directly across the road from the existing space on Turnstone Street, Alkimos Beach, next to the medical centre. The new venue will provide a much larger space with the inclusion of a toilet, perfect for a wide variety of community groups and activities.

Please note the Library will be closed from Saturday 22 June and reopening in its new home on Monday 15 July while relocation works are undertaken.

The new Alkimos Beach BeachSAFE calendar for the second half of the year is out now. The calendar features plenty of FREE programs for Alkimos Beach and Alkimos Vista residents, including first aid training, surfbabies, surf kids and Alkimos SLSC Open Day. Make sure to book your spot today.

Sprout Community Hub’s winter activities calendar is now available featuring plenty of exciting events including:
  • Little Sprout Meetups each Thursday
  • Meet the Artist exhibition each month, and
  • Free July School Holiday programs including a Joondalup Wolves Basketball Clinic and a Make Your Own Picasso art workshop.

The Gateway Shopping Precinct recently welcomed two new tenants to join its ever-expanding list of retailers: Boss Supplements and Alkimos Mediterranean & Kebab House.

Also the Alkimos Beach Medical Centre is now open on Sundays from 9am – 5pm.
