Your Guide to Getting Active in Harpley

It’s time to get outside and get moving! Whether you’re big into sports, want to step outside your comfort zone, or just looking for a new spot to walk the dog, our community has something for everyone. Check out all the different ways to get active in and around Harpley.

Harpley Discovery Trail 

Get your steps in and learn about Harpley’s history along the way! Walk, jog, or cycle along the winding Harpley Discovery Trail, stopping at observation decks and keeping an eye out for wildlife along the way. The trail winds through our beautiful wetlands, and the Harpley Adventure Playground is nearby if your little ones are tagging along. 

Live Life Get Active 

Ever thought of having a go at boxing, yoga, or Active X? Look no further than Live Life Get Active. With free sessions during the school term and motivational instructors, you’ll be well on track towards a fitter, healthier, and happier you! 

Kreed Performance 

Need a hand reaching your workout goals? Kreed Performance will steer you onto the right track, whether your goal is strength training, body building, or rehabilitation from an injury. Sessions take place in a dedicated workout space decked out with all the essentials, and you will be encouraged every step of the way.  

BabyGym 

An engaging mixture of songs and gymnastics, BabyGym is the ideal program for mums of bubs aged four to 12 months. Not only are these sessions super entertaining for little ones, they aid with important early development, including spatial awareness, social interaction, balance, fine motor skills, and coordination. 

Join a local soccer club 

Got Matildas fever? Whether you’re a seasoned player or just want to give the sport a go, there are soccer clubs in Werribee and Wyndham Vale that cater to various ages and levels of ability. Time to start kicking those goals! 

Iramoo Community Centre  

Does dancing, karate, or a leisurely stroll along Lollypop Creek sound right up your alley? Then pay a visit to Iramoo Community Centre. From ballroom dancing to relaxing yoga, there’s something for all fitness levels. Check the community board or website to see what’s on. 

Wyndham Vale Parkrun 

Wyndham Vale Parkrun is the ideal way to get moving and meet members of the community! People are encouraged to take the 5km route at their own pace, whether that be running, walking, or skipping. You don’t have to be fit or fast – it's all about supporting one another and enjoying some fresh air. Stick around afterwards for a cuppa at a local café.
