Home to some of Victoria’s most remarkable tourist destinations drawing more than a million visitors each year, the Werribee Park Tourism Precinct is conveniently located on K Road, just off the Princes Freeway and less than 15 minutes drive from Harpley.
A recent study has found that visitor attractions in Melbourne’s west generate more than $224 million annually and more than 1.1 million people visit the area each year.
The Werribee Park and Mansion received approximately 500,000 visitors each year, while the Precinct’s most popular attraction, Werribee Open Range Zoo attracted approximately 560,000 visitors annually.

Werribee Open Range Zoo
Experience an African safari close to home. Werribee Open Range Zoo is a sanctuary to a range of iconic animals from Africa and a variety of wildlife found in Asia, North America and Australia. There are highlights that you and your kids can delight in throughout the day, from the off-road safari tour, African cat encounter and various talks with keepers about lions, hippos and gorillas.

Victoria State Rose Garden
A grandiose display of six thousand roses of all types sprawling 4.75 hectares await in the Victoria State Rose Garden. The only winner of the World Federation of Rose Societies Award for Garden Excellence outside of Europe, the magnificent garden is in its full glory from November to April. Take a walk at your own leisure among thousands of different roses or have lunch on the picnic area near the carpark.

Werribee Park Golf Club
Open since 1976, Werribee Park Golf Club is an ideal spot to unwind by playing a few holes or having some relaxing beverages at the club house. It is open to the public. The Werribee Park Golf Club is an 18 hole, par 72 championship golf course with views overlooking the Werribee River and Red Cliffs.
The club house offers meals and drinks to players and visitors with vistas across the You Yangs, Werribee River and Bellarine Peninsula. It is also available for hire for private functions.
