Werribee Zoo is proud to share its newest arrivals, four new lion cubs!

Werribee Zoo has welcomed four new babies to its lion family – two female and two male lion cubs. Born on August 12 2017, the cubs moved into the public display enclosure for the first time from 15th October.

Proud lion mama Nilo can be seen in the lion display area interacting with her cubs. Like any newborn babies, it is difficult to predict exactly when they will be out and about, but at the moment Werribee Zoo is aiming to have the cubs out for public viewing between 9.30am to 10.30am daily.

Head to Werribee Zoo before October 29 to see the gorgeous troupe and also to cast your vote for their names. You can do this at the Village Trader Shop at Werribee Zoo.

Viewing times for the lion cubs may change; for the latest news go to the Zoos Victoria Twitter feed here.
