Umme Samiha wins Harpley’s #BeFirst competition with sunset snap!
A chance encounter at Harpley’s adventure playground three years ago has seen future Harpley resident Umme Samiha take out the top prize in the month long #BeFirst competition.
Her striking photo of the sun setting over the adventure playground, has seen Umme scored a $3000 voucher to The Good Guys Hoppers Crossing.
After searching for the perfect community for over a year, it was on this night that Umme and her family realised they had found the ideal place to call home. They decided then and there to purchase a house and land package in Harpley.
Four weekly winners also took home great local prizes – catering from Mondells Patisserie, a family pass to the Werribee Open Range Zoo, a barbeque from the Werribee Bunnings and a $500 voucher to the Bicycle Superstore in Hoppers Crossing.
The winning entries ranged from submissions about exploring the adventure park, summer nights walking along the wetlands and weekends spent designing and building Harpley dream homes. One entry even detailed two best friends who have bought lots of land next to each other, with plans to raise their families’ side-by-side.
You can view all the winning submissions on the Harpley Facebook page. We love hearing great Harpley stories and seeing your photos, so please keep sharing your Harpley memories on our Facebook page.
