Development Update April 2022
Welcome to Harpley’s Development Update.
After a busy start to the year, we are excited to share many project updates.
The Town Centre, developed by Eildon Capital Group, is expected to commence construction mid year with the shopping centre, anchored by Coles, anticipated to complete late 2023. The medical centre, service station and fast food have all been granted Council planning approval and should also commence construction this year. Works on the lake continue to progress with bulk earthworks underway and the team finessing the design.
The future Lollipop Creek Primary School, located next to the Town Centre, has been announced to open in Term 1 of 2023, with the State Government having already commenced works.
Edgewater Stages 74, 73 & 71 are all expected to title over the next few months, and you’ll see an increase in activity onsite in the Townley Park precinct.

Harpley Town Centre & Surrounding Lake
Much of the behind-the-scenes work on the Harpley Town Centre has already commenced, with an increase in construction activity expected throughout 2022, each stage of the development will deliver different retailers and services.
The Town Centre will be delivered by Eildon Capital Group, who took over the site late last year and who are busy seeking construction approvals for the initial stages.
Construction is expected to commence mid-year and completion of the shopping centre, anchored by a Coles supermarket, supported by a pharmacy, gym, beauty services, office spaces, and takeaway restaurants, is expected late 2023. For more information, click here
If you’ve been out to Harpley recently, you would have seen the mammoth amount of earthworks on the lake site. Over the coming months, you’ll continue to see large machinery clearing the area, no small feat!
The team is currently working closely with the authorities to close out the lake design requirements.
Townley Boulevard Park Nears Completion
The newest park in Harpley is almost ready to welcome residents.
The park, which features a fun & quirky a whale bone structure, is located in Stage 68.
Once complete, the park will feature a seating area, grassed section – perfect for kicking the footy, BBQ ready to entertain your family & friends, table tennis, street furniture and basketball court!
Waterways Along Eaglemont Way
The waterways along Eaglemont Way continue to progress as planned with civil works now complete.
The team is now working on the landscaping – we can’t wait to see the finished product!
Edgewater Stage 73
The road is now complete.
The team is currently coordinating with authorities including Powercor and Greater Western Water to finalise the stage.
Titles are expected in May 22.
Edgewater Stage 74
The road is currently being laid with formwork now installed.
The team is currently coordinating with authorities including Powercor and Greater Western Water in the lead up to titles.
Titles expected between June and July 2022.
Edgewater Stage 71
Kerb construction is now complete in Stage 71 with electrical works by Mortons ready to commence on site along with laying of the road.
Titles are forecasted for June to July 2022.
Edgewater Stage 72
Excitingly Stage 72 construction has also commenced.
Titles are expected December 2022 to February 2023.
Stage 75 – construction commenced. Titles anticipated December 2022 to January 2023.
Stage 76 – construction commencement scheduled to begin in June 2022 with titles expected April 2023 to June 2023.
How Our Community Presents
We are regularly conducting site clean ups around the development to ensure the project is free from rubbish and hazards, and importantly presents well so it’s a community you can be proud of.
If you notice any rubbish dumping on council nature strips or graffiti vandalism, we encourage you to report directly to council using the Snap Send Solve app .
Need to get rid of large items?
Wyndham City offers most households in the municipality three free hard and green waste collection services each financial year.
This service works on a pre-booked system, and you will need to book your collection day at least 1 week in advance, with collection waiting times of 2-3 weeks. To book in your hard rubbish collection head to the council website here .
