Will there be a Catholic School?
A Catholic Primary School is currently located with the existing Place Victoria developed part of the Estate however there are no plans for a Catholic school to be built with the Lendlease component of the Development.

When will the government primary schools open?
This is subject to demand and direction from the Department of Education. We expect an announcement within the next 4-6 years.

When will the government secondary school open?
We anticipate that the State Government will open the secondary school in 2018.

What does the Green Building Council 6 star accreditation mean?
Green Star is an internationally recognised sustainability rating system. A Green Star rating provides independent verification that a community project is sustainable where a 6 star is the highest rating achievable and indicates a world leadership in sustainability in communities.

Will I have recycled water from day one?
Yes - Homes in Aurora by Lendlease will have two water meters; one for drinking water and a purple one for Class A recycled water. Yarra Valley Water aims to deliver Class A recycled water for non-drinking purposes, such as flushing toilets, watering the garden and washing cars.

How many blocks will Lendlease develop?
The Aurora development proposes 3,100 homes of varied housing types to suit a broad range of resident preferences to be progressively delivered over a 10-12 year timeframe subject to forecast sales rates.

What size will the lots be?
There will be a range of lot sizes offered to cater for a range of budgets and lifestyles. Lot sizes will range from < 250m2 to 750m2+ and will cater for everyone, from first home buyers to downsizers.

What facilities will be in each park?
Each park will have shelter and seating facilities. A hierarchy of playgrounds will be scattered across the proposed parklands, covering all abilities, junior, senior, adult and nature play elements. Sustainable play equipment (kinetic and solar) will be incorporated into most parks.

What sporting facilities will be available?
Planned for Aurora:
- 4 AFL ovals
- Tennis courts - multipurpose with netball
- Basketball court
- 4 soccer pitches
- Cricket nets
- Pavilions
- Indoor sports facility to be delivered by Council
