Two years on – how is Aurora’s Sprout Hub scoring?

Aurora Sprouthub

The Sprout Hub at Aurora was opened in January 2016. It’s a lovely, little cafe providing space hire, coffees and snacks, activities and a wide range of events that helps forge important social connections in our community. Ten cents from every dollar spent at the Sprout Hub café is also reinvested into a community fund called ‘The Seedling Fund’ – this fund supports local clubs and groups to grow their activities in the local area. In 2018, the Seedling Fund granted $4500 to 2 local community groups. Click here to find out more.

Each year, Lendlease reviews the social impact of this initiative by seeking feedback from the Sprout Hub customers. The feedback is reviewed against a set of community goals to measure its success – enable community participation, facilitate casual social connection, support local community groups and small business, and deliver a high quality hub project. This year we’ve had some impressive community and economic outcomes – we welcome you to check out the results on the Aurora Sprout Hub Impact Scorecard.
