Free Youth Theatre Workshops

Starting on 19 February the young people of the Aurora community will be able to take part in free youth theatre workshops set up by The City of Whittlesea and Fresh Theatre.

The workshops will be open for people aged 12 to 18 years old from Aurora and beyond and held in the Woodstock Theatre, Plenty Ranges Art & Convention Centre. The group will meet on Mondays from 4.30pm to 7pm and work towards a contemporary cross cultural production of Romeo and Juliet to be staged on Friday June 29 and Saturday June 30.

As well as encouraging a creative outlet by learning acting and performance skills, the Fresh Theatre workshops provide a supportive and positive space for young people to build a strong social network and meet others in their community.
