Take a Tour of Melbourne Polytechnic Epping

Just 10 minutes from the Aurora community is the Epping campus of Melbourne Polytechnic, an ideal learning centre for upskilling your qualifications. From diplomas to degrees, there are plenty of subjects to learn no matter what your interests.

Melbourne Polytechnic is Victoria’s largest agricultural training provider and the Epping campus houses the Agriculture and Animal Studies Department and the primary industries department. If agriculture doesn’t interest you there are 17 additional and diverse areas of study to explore. From accounting to meat processing, plumbing to legal studies, viticulture to renewable energy, there are several options. You can even undertake English As A Second Language courses here.

Further education can be vital to setting yourself apart from the rest when entering the employment market. Melbourne Polytechnic prides itself on teaching its students with hands on methods. This means you will learn the practical realities of what your future job will require, rather than just reading from a textbook.

The Epping campus of Melbourne Polytechnic is relatively new (only opened in 2012) and boasts the Green Skills Centre of Excellence – a five star energy rated building. There is also a dedicated library with free wifi and laptops for use onsite, student centre, cafeteria and bookshop.

Melbourne Polytechnic has been providing vocational education and training to Melburians since the early 1900s. Today there are seven campuses across the city that allow students to learn more about their chosen career in both a practical and theoretical sense.

This semester of study has already commenced for 2018. But to find out more about how you can explore opportunities at Melbourne Polytechnic in the future, fill in their Information and Enrolment Sessions form here.

On the corner of Cooper Street and Dalton Road in Epping, Melbourne Polytechnic can be easily reached by driving south down Epping Road from Aurora.
