What To Do At Aurora Display Village

Display Village

The Aurora Display Village is a purpose built site where you can compare the different options on offer. The village has 38 homes on display from 18 of Melbourne’s leading builders. Here are some tips for how to make the most of your Aurora Display Village visit.

Take Notes

Don’t arrive at Aurora Display Village in a rush. Instead, take your time to really walk through and consider the different options. Bring a notebook with you or take some photos on your smart phone so you can remember and compare later.

Even if you already immediately know what you like, taking some photos might help you with interior design or landscaping ideas when you move into your dream home later on.

Look At The Finer Details

Spend some time really doing a detailed inspection of the quality of the cabinetry, paint and trimmings. This is the benchmark for what you should be expecting from your finished home. Also think about how your current furnishings will work in the space and how you are going to use each room.

Take Advantage of the On Site Staff

Use the time you are at Aurora Display Village to ask any of the questions that you have. If the current staff on site are not able to provide you an answer straight away, ask to make an appointment with someone who can help you.

Visit Multiple Times

Aurora Display Village exists so that you can see exactly what your perfect forever home will look like. So it’s worth revisiting a few times so you can see the different houses at different times of the day and in different weather conditions. Check to see how much light comes in when it’s raining, how north facing windows cope with direct sun and how the buildings cope when it is very hot (or very cold).

The Aurora Display Village is open Monday to Sunday 12pm – 5pm.
