Aurora’s Treetops Park Now Open with Solar Trees

With the opening of the Aurora Treetops Park, the Aurora community now has an additional place for family and friends to gather, play and get to know each other.

And while we already know that the solar trees located in the Aurora playgrounds are a place where you can charge your phone or laptop via USB port while the children play, did you also know that the solar energy captured by these solar trees and the solar panels on top of the shelter actually powers the communal barbeque at Aurora Treetops Park as well?

So even as you are grilling your sausages or veggie burgers, you know that you aren’t leaving any harmful carbon footprint on the environment. In fact, Aurora’s 6 Star Green Star Community rating means that you are putting that stored solar energy to good use.
