Curtis Stone Comes To Aurora
Australia’s most well known celebrity chef, Curtis Stone, spent the day with the Aurora community to acknowledge the opening of the 800th Coles supermarket at Aurora Northern Town Centre.
On Wednesday the sandy haired surfer walked the aisles, checked out the fresh produce and took a tour of the impressive new facilities on the first day of trade at Coles Aurora Northern Town Centre.
It was a great chance for the local Aurora community and Coles staff to celebrity spot, exchange a few words and maybe even catch a selfie with the friendly and chatty Aussie star who has made it big in Hollywood.
These days you might recognise him as a familiar face from Coles television ads or his guest appearances on MasterChef, but Curtis Stone has actually been a well established TV personality for many years.
He started in television on Surfing the Menu with pal and fellow celebrity chef Ben O’Donohue. Since the he has starred in the smash hit series Take Home Chef as well as appeared in Top Chef Masters and The Biggest Loser. He has even cooked on The Oprah Winfrey Show and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
With a career that includes working under Marco Pierre White to now owning two of his own restaurants in Los Angeles, the boy from Melbourne’s return to his home town was an honour and a thrill for the entire Aurora community.
