Welcome Harvest Home Primary School
The Aurora community has been so lucky to have its own brand new primary school open its doors this year. Harvest Home Primary School is now functioning with 306 students, state-of-the-art facilities and enthusiastic and motivated staff.
Harvest Home Primary School boasts a new STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and maths) centre with a dedicated science teacher and a visual and performing arts teacher to come in the near future.
It also has fresh turf on the oval and a new physical education stadium with full time PE teacher to encourage health and fitness.
The kids at Harvest Home Primary work in “learning communities”. This means, for instance, that the 80 to 90 Prep children this year share 4 teachers between them in an environment the encourages learning for all levels.
For working parents, there is an Early Learning Centre on site being run by the YMCA to take care of all your before school, after school and school holiday care needs. The Early Learning Centre also offers infant to preschooler childcare for younger siblings or future Harvest Home Primary kids.
