Introducing Creeds Farm
One of the best ways to meet your neighbours in Aurora is to head over to Creeds Farm Living & Learning Centre. Whether you are a parent with young children at home, you are new to Australia and just learning to speak English or you just want someone to play table tennis with, Creeds Farm supplies a one-stop location to meet new people and much more.
Visiting Creeds Farm means visiting a space that is inclusive and encourages residents of the area to participate and network to get to know each other. Since 2011 they have been open and welcoming Aurora’s families to come and make use of their facilities.
They hold regular programs throughout the week including hatha yoga classes, sewing groups and Indian classical dance as well as a garden group for those who enjoy the veggie patch. If you have young children, there are plenty of activities on offer from Hindi lessons for kids to tech classes, taekwando and regular playgroups so you can meet other like-minded parents.
Creeds Farm recognises that things may not always be easy, so they also offer mental health self-help workshops that are free and include coffee and group discussion.
To find out more, head over to Creeds Farm or to their website. The office is open Tuesday 9am to 4pm, Wednesday 11am to 6pm and Friday 9am to 4pm.
