Preserving the natural environment is important to Lendlease. At Atherstone we have planned a number of environmental initiatives.

Where possible, our construction processes are being reviewed to incorporate low embodied CO² material and we’re working closely with our builder partners to minimise our carbon footprint.

Atherstone’s masterplan also provides for linear parks, on road bike lanes and shared user trails so that all residents can enjoy a safe and active outdoor lifestyle.

All homes will be supplied with recycled water and we’re also encouraging the construction of 7 Star homes to assist residents in reducing their home operating costs whilst reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
