The Bridge Road Children’s and Community Centre in Melton is an ideal space for the Atherstone community to gather and interact. It is a space specifically designed to encourage neighbours and friends in Atherstone and its surrounds to come and spend time together in a safe and friendly environment.

Located right next to the Regional Play Space and the Sports Precinct, the centre has a gorgeous landscaped playground and is open to all members of the public.

For families with young kids there is a three room, council run kindergarten for three and four year old's and a maternal child health service where you can meet other parents while taking your children for their check ups. There are also playgroups and new mothers’ groups.

School holiday vacation care programs also run at the centre with activities for children aged 5 to 12.

Seniors aren’t left out either. There are plenty of group activities for older members of the community including tai chi. Can’t find something you like? They are also open to taking on new suggestions.
