Information provided below is correct as at October 2024 and is provided as a general guide only. We aim to update this webpage every three - four months.
Please note, construction updates relating to residential stages are communicated directly to the purchaser from the Atherstone Sales Team. As your new lot gets closer to settlement, you'll receive necessary updates directly from them via email.
Residential Stage Progress
Over the past few months the team has been working to finalise the delivery of Stages 36, 39 & 37 (c.270 lots) with titling now complete and settlements underway.

Melton Hospital Funding Announcement
A highly anticipated Melton Hospital state announcement was made on 3 May confirming $900 million in funding had been allocated to the project.
Located off Ferris Road, Cobblebank, the future Melton Hospital will include a 24-hour emergency department, over 100 medical and surgical beds, an intensive care unit, maternity and neonatal services, mental health services, operating theatres, and outpatient care.
Lendlease is pleased to be involved in the New Melton Hospital Project and be part of this important new health infrastructure project for Melton and Victoria.
Cobblebank Train Line Overpass
The level crossings at Coburns Road, Exford Road, and Ferris Road will be removed by 2026. Removing the crossings will help slash travel times and improve traffic in and out of Melton.
The Level Crossing Removal project team are getting ready to remove the level crossing at Ferris Road by building a new road bridge over the Ballarat Line. Early works and site establishment works will be carried out from October 2024 - December 2024.

Ferris Road Upgrade
The second stage of Ferris Road is now open to the public, which is the stretch of road extending down to Ravenscraig Drive, completing the connection through Wembley Avenue.
The next stage of Ferris Road Stage 3 is currently under construction, with pavements currently being constructed. This next section of road will extend down to the future East-West Connector Road. Ferris Road 3 is forecast to complete in the first half of 2025, subject to the relevant authority audits and approvals.

Palara Village Park
Discover Palara Village Park, Atherstone's newest park, completed in mid-April. You can walk, cycle, skate, or scooter down and discover this fun, nature-inspired play space now!
Palara Village Park features an unmissable green and grey ‘boxy’ design that pays tribute to the native grey box eucalyptus trees found in and around Atherstone.

The Place Cobblebank developed by Oreana Group within Atherstone estate has completed construction with the following stores already open or planned to open trading in the coming months:

St Francis Catholic College Cobblebank
The new Cobblebank Campus of St Francis Catholic College (formerly known as Cobblebank Catholic Regional College) is located on Bridge Road, Cobblebank, close to Cobblebank Village.
The campus opened in 2023 and has 350 students in Years 7 and 8 in 2024. By 2028, the campus will grow to accommodate up to 1500 Year 7-12 students.
