Set Your Pace @ Blakes Crossing, Sunday fun run.


To celebrate the opening of the final stages of Blue Tongue Creek, Blakes Crossing and local resident Justin Beard from Push your Limits Personal Training are introducing a Sunday Fun Run.

The run will take place along the idyllic Blue Tongue Creek walkways and we encourage people of every ability to take part, from walkers to runners, from juniors to seniors, kids in prams and don’t forget your best friend, the dog, you are all welcome.

You can run, jog or walk the 2km, 4km and 6km, and do it at your pace, it will be timed so you can beat your time each week. There is also fitness equipment along the run, so you can really have a good workout. Location of the fitness equipment is here:

The start and finish line will be from the Cnr Burnlea Parade and Main Terrace. 7.45am for the run debrief and warm up exercises with Justin. The run will start at 8am sharp.

Come on, get out and get active with the whole family and meet your fellow neighbours, everyone is invited and its FREE. Training in cooler weather is good for your mind and your body. And it will make you feel better, you can soak up the sunshine benefits (get your vitamin D3) and you burn more calories when you exercise outside.
