Lendlease Yarrabilba would like to acknowledge the Yugambeh People as the traditional owners of the Yarrabilba area. The cultural heritage assessment of the Yarrabilba estate by Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Body, Jabree Ltd, shows evidence of Aboriginal occupation of this area over a long period of time. Local Aboriginal people made return visits to the Rock Shelters on the north-eastern side of Yarrabilba bordering the conservation park and moved through the country south to the Albert River and across to the Tamborine Bora Grounds. We acknowledge the Yugambeh People's physical and spiritual cultural heritage and the unique connection with their land.
