Yarrabilba tavern construction commences
Yarrabilba residents are witnessing the first signs of construction of the $16 million Yarrabilba Tavern which is due for completion in mid-2022.
The new state-of-the-art venue is being built upon a sprawling 4,000sqm site and will be a vibrant location for residents and visitors to eat, celebrate and socialise in the heart of the growing Yarrabilba community.
Site works represent a massive milestone for the community. The tavern will provide an estimated 60-plus ongoing jobs upon completion, with more than 100 tradespeople expected to be involved in the construction process.
There will be something for the whole family to enjoy with a range of dining precincts, family-friendly relaxation zones, exciting play zones for the kids, a dedicated sports bar and a breezy outdoor lounge.
Operations Manager of McGuire Hotel Group, Matthew McGuire, says the Tavern has been designed by leading architects to create a sophisticated community hive which will act as a key component of the popular $11 billion masterplanned project.
“We are thrilled to commence construction on this fantastic community destination and look forward to offering residents another important amenity, further establishing Yarrabilba as a truly unique and self-contained destination to live, work and play,” Mr McGuire said.
“The Tavern will be adjacent to the Coles shopping centre and is earmarked as an integral part of the overall vision for Yarrabilba, which includes a future 100-plus hectare commercial precinct and a thriving town centre.”
The Yarrabilba Tavern will add to the portfolio of McGuires Hotel Group’s 10 prominent venues throughout Queensland. To find out more, call 1800 721 856, or register your details here.
