Yarrabilba shines at prestigious state property awards

Yarrabilba has been recognised as one of Queensland’s best residential communities, receiving several honours at the 2023 UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence in early November.

Take a bow Yarrabilba! Our community was one of the big stars in this year’s UDIA Queensland Awards, which recognise excellence in the property sector.

Yarrabilba was named overall winner in the Marketing Excellence category amid strong sales that have seen the community secure the number one spot in the Logan corridor with hundreds of families moving into their new homes in 2023.

Yarrabilba’s marketing has focused on creating a strong sense of optimism and opportunity – a place residents are proud to call home – while providing a wide range of housing options to suit many different buyers and budgets.

UDIA Queensland also acknowledged Yarrabilba’s new flagship community space, The Buzz, which was named a finalist in the category of Social and Community Infrastructure excellence.

The Buzz was delivered under a unique partnership between Lendlease, Logan City Council, Brisbane Catholic Education and the State Government. The amazing $7.4 million hub provides a central space to encourage community connection, employment and skilling for Yarrabilba residents.

Finally, Yarrabilba was also selected as a finalist in the coveted Project of the Year Award, which is chosen from category winners and deemed the ‘best of the best’ across all communities.

Lendlease Head of Queensland Communities, Ian Murray, said the multiple award honours were a welcome recognition for one of the state’s most successful communities, and a well-deserved tribute to the Lendlease team.
