Yarrabilba offers tree change for Gold Coast residents

Yarrabilba’s lifestyle and location is driving a surge in Coast buyers, leaving behind the glitter strip and heading north to our vibrant community.

In the past six months, more than 20 Gold Coast buyers have decided to call Yarrabilba home, many of these purchasing in our new precinct, The Parks.

Pimpama residents Ricky and Kiren Brar had been looking for available land on the Coast for over a year, though due to shrinking supply, decided to venture closer to Brisbane in search of affordable property prospects with plentiful green open space for their family.

The couple and their five-year-old daughter have recently purchased a 600sqm block in Yarrabilba’s premium precinct Haven at The Parks.

Close to the picturesque Plunkett Conservation Park and adjacent to the proposed Yarrabilba Town Centre, The Parks appealed to the family’s lifestyle requirements.

“My wife, daughter and I have been renting on the Gold Coast and have been looking for available land for over a year,” said Ricky.

“There just wasn’t anything on the Coast that suited our living requirements. We wanted a big backyard, space for our daughter to play and wanted to build a 2-storey home.

“Yarrabilba had large lots available and within our budget. It was very affordable to what the prices were on the Gold Coast. There’s a lot on offer for families and more green spaces and parks.”

The pandemic affect has seen buyer’s lifestyle requirements change over the past 12 months. Spending more time at home, savvy buyers are on the hunt for larger properties, bigger backyards and a thriving community hub.

Yarrabilba is fast becoming a property hot spot as Logan soars ahead as one of Queensland’s fastest growing regions. In just over 20 years, Logan’s population is predicted to grow by more than 50 per cent to around 548,000 residents.
