Yarrabilba Neighbourhood Centre

Open for business – see what’s new at the Yarrabilba Neighbourhood Centre

Yarrabilba’s thriving, modern township is now home to a bakery, newsagency and hair salon, all open for business this month at the Neighbourhood Centre.

Residents can be excited by the wide range of services and essential shopping destinations now available in our community, creating the ultimate live, work, play environment.

Rainbow Bakery owner Neary Pech Ky said she is thrilled to provide her home-made fresh bread, pastries, pies, cakes and sweet treats to the community.

“I saw the growth of Yarrabilba as a community and saw the opportunity to provide a bakery service to residents,” she said.

"Every day our bread and sourdough will be baked fresh in store, as well as a wide range of pies, pastries, slices and cakes.

“I’m looking forward to meet our residents, have them try out products and get their feedback on what they want to see more of.”

Boho Boutique Hair Salon owner Nikki Fielding said she is excited to officially open her doors this month, offering hair and beauty services for teens- adults.

“I am local to Logan Village and saw my business was something that people of Yarrabilba need,” she said.

“The salon is targeted at men and women who are looking for a place to come and relax while receiving one on one professional haircare service. We are a child-free salon and promote a space for “me time.” We will also be offering a delicious selection of beverages including beer, champagne and real barista coffee.”

Yarrabilba’s first newsagency is also now officially open in the Neighbourhood Centre, saving residents the trip to Logan Village.

“Residents who previously had to travel to Logan for a newsagency, have all those services at their doorstep,” said Yarrabilba News and Tobacconist owner Anuj Verma.

“It’s exciting to be part of the growth of Yarrabilba and to meet the local community.”

Harmony Childcare, Café 63 and Anytime Fitness also call Yarrabilba home. And in exciting news, a sushi store will open in the centre later this year. Stay tuned!

More than 50 shops and businesses now service the region’s fast-growing population, while a future town centre and thousands of new jobs are still to come.
