Yarrabilba got the party started!

Did you join in on the Carnival Street Party of all Parties? 🎭💃🏻🎉 More than 1,000 people danced up a storm, kicked up their heels and explored the community’s new Sales and Information Centre and Display Village for Yarrabilba’s Carnivale Street Party.

Prospect Circuit came alive, with sights, sounds and vibrant colours that welcomed residents and new friendly faces to our community.

From roving performers, a live band, street parade, drumming and dance workshops, mask making, face painters and food truck, it was fantastic to celebrate our growing community with you all.

A big hit with young and old was the energetic Samba dancers, the interactive drumming workshops, stilt walkers and impressive acro artists that drew in big crowds. Families also enjoyed the photo booth, and taking home a special keepsake from the occasion, with Lendlease handing out around 750 “I🧡YAR” shirts and 500 Yarrabilba drink bottles!

A feast for the senses, it was wonderful to share in the festivities with our Display Village builders, who opened up their homes to showcase their state-of-the-art designs, while also hosting a range of interactive activation's for visitors to enjoy.

To ensure the event finished with a bang, the street parade saw guests line the streets, actively participating in the festivities, dancing, and playing along.
