Yarrabilba gets much-needed health boost

Yarrabilba will soon be home to a world-class specialist health hub, ensuring our growing community has direct access to state-of-the-art medical care and treatment, without leaving the neighbourhood.

The grand opening of the state-of-the-art Yarrabilba Health City this month heralds the first day hospital and specialist hub for our community.

The world-class facility will incorporate speciality units for cardiology, oncology and radiology, as well as a dental surgery and allied health care.

Anand Iyer from Guru Property said excitement was building for the official opening of the health hub, with the facility set to open their doors later this month.

“The Health City is being built to hospital standards with an ambulance bay, facilities for minor day surgery and state-of-the-art technology,” he said.

“The Health City spans across 1800sq metres, which is already leased by a range of specialist, doctors and medical practitioners and we are coordinating with allied health practitioners to lease the remaining space.

“The building is 100 per cent complete, and we are in the final stages of the fit out. We are so excited to open our doors to the Yarrabilba and wider community.”

The multi-million-dollar facility will be home to at least 15 internationally renowned doctors. As the Yarrabilba community continues to grow, there is provision to create more speciality units, including an onsite pharmacy.

“With an increase of people calling Yarrabilba home in the coming years, this facility is very timely,” said Aanand.

“A lot of effort and time has been invested to support the needs of residents now and into the future.

“This is a very exciting project, and we look forward to providing these speciality services to the people of Yarrabilba.”
