Yarrabilba celebrates announcement of new state primary school

A new state primary school has been confirmed for Yarrabilba, an exciting step forward in supporting families in our growing community.

The new school will officially open in 2023 and be located in our brand new precinct, The Parks, surrounded by nature and close to the future Yarrabilba Town Centre.

The State Government and Lendlease have previously announced an investment of more than $24 million to provide vital new infrastructure to service the school and The Parks precinct.

Adding to the impressive collection of facilities already on offer, the new primary school will be the fifth school overall for Yarrabilba and the second state primary school.

Education is a massive part of our plans for Yarrabilba, which will have a total of 11 schools by government and private education operators upon completion

Yarrabilba’s latest school was announced as part of the State Budget released on 15 June.

Other education spending for Yarrabilba in the Budget included $21 million for the construction of an additional building at the existing Yarrabilba State School, $30.5 million for the second stage of Yarrabilba State Secondary College and $1.5 million for community TAFE learning pilot centre.
