The Parks, a place to call home for new resident
Welcome to the neighbourhood! Looking forward to living a connected life at The Parks in Yarrabilba, new resident Julie Burnett shares her journey to building in our community’s new premium pocket.
The release of The Parks in 2022 offered Julie an exciting opportunity to secure land and plant roots in the community with her family.
“Land is pretty tight at the moment, so the release of The Parks provided an opportunity to build a brand new home and be closer to family in Yarrabilba. I’m really excited to be building here,” said Julie.
“I drew inspiration from visiting the Yarrabilba display village, working out what I wanted for my new home. I thought carefully about my block, the way the sun rose and set and the contours of the land. I’m building my home with Hallmark Homes and it has been designed to take advantage of the northern sun.”
A family affair, Julie is moving from Wilston to join her daughter, son and their families, who are also currently building in The Parks.
“Having my family here and my grandchildren, I will be able to help out a lot and even walk my grandchildren to the new school,” she said.
“I’m really excited about the growth of Yarrabilba as a community, to watch all my family blossom here and also excited to plant and watch my garden grow. I’m excited for the green open spaces within The Parks.”
Surrounded by nature, more than 35 per cent of The Parks is dedicated to parklands and green space, creating a truly harmonic connection to the natural environment.
With a new state primary school and future Yarrabilba Town Centre only moments away, Julie is excited for her and her family to be part of a connected community.
“Living so close to my grandchildren, they will be able to come over and make my home theirs. It will be a great community for my grandchildren to learn to ride a bike and make memories all together,” said Julie.
“Like the suburb, my grandchildren will have a haven at my house. For my family, this move has been about growth.”
“I’m excited to watch my grandchildren grow and be part of that. I’m so looking forward to watching the community grow and I want this to be our safe haven.”
