Now that's one impressive line up!

As construction of The Parks forges ahead, civil contractor Golding has revealed that Yarrabilba – Lendlease’s largest Australian master planned community – has an average of more than 500 workers on site each day operating a staggering $23 million worth of machinery.

This is what it takes to construct the next 850 blocks of land to accommodate the line-up of new home buyers wanting to call our community home.

This impressive array of construction vehicles gathered in the project compound prior to the start of a day’s work includes:

  • 12 scrapers
  • 18 excavators
  • 5 water trucks
  • 5 dozers
  • 4 dump trucks
  • 2 bob cats
  • 2 backhoes
  • 10 single axle trucks
  • 3 graders
  • 14 light vehicles
  • 9 varying pieces of compaction equipment

Launched only a few months ago, The Parks precinct will eventually provide approximately 2,000 homes close to a new state primary school opening in 2023 and the future Yarrabilba Town Centre.

Surrounded by nature, more than 35 per cent of The Parks will be dedicated to parklands and green space, creating a seamless connection to the natural environment.

Construction of the first stages of The Parks is now well advanced with this photo showing topsoil ready to be spread on lots in Stages 14 to 18.

The first homes in The Parks are expected to start construction next year with residents moving in before Christmas 2022.
