New to the neighbourhood

The dream of living a connected life in Yarrabilba’s green heart neighbourhood – The Parks - has become a reality for Rebekah Barber, who moved into her forever home late last year.

New to the neighbourhood, Rebekah Barber, her partner Tom and two sons Michael and Nicholas, are embracing their new life at Yarrabilba in their newly constructed forever home in The Parks precinct.

From exploring the bush trails and enjoying the views of the mountains to spending quality family time in the parklands and green open spaces, Rebekah is stepping up and stepping out into her new life in the connected community.

“I love the feel of Yarrabilba – it doesn’t feel crowded. It’s a rural feel while still being close to everything we need. There is so much green space and parklands,” said Rebekah.

“My partner loves exploring the various bush trails and riding his bike around the area. I love seeing the mountains in the background when I’m coming home every day.

“I love the fact that there are so many new parks being built here – my boys will have so much space to run and just be kids. The neighbourhood is friendly, and I look forward to getting to know people better around here.

Previously living in Bethania, Rebekah was looking for a growing and vibrant community that would suit her family’s needs now and well into the future.

“My new home in The Parks is the very first home I’ve ever built,” Rebekah said. “Our home was finished in December 2022 and we moved in just before Christmas. It was the best Christmas present ever.”

“Our family is really looking forward to the development of the future town centre and seeing the area continue to grow and welcome new neighbours. We certainly hope to be here for many years to come.”

More and more first home buyers, families and former renters are deciding to plant solid foundations for their future in Yarrabilba, drawn to its affordable housing, available land and connected community.

Launched in 2012 as a priority development area for the fast-growing Logan corridor, Yarrabilba is already a thriving, modern township with five schools, two childcare centres, health services, a Coles supermarket, restaurants, cafes, sports fields and employment hubs.
