Celebrating one year of the Neighbourhood Centre

Time has flown by as business booms one year on from the official opening of the Yarrabilba Neighbourhood Centre. We take a look at all the exciting amenity, restaurants and services now available to residents and the wider community.

Yarrabilba’s thriving, modern township continues to grow into a connected community offering a range of new services, amenity and delicious food options to suit the whole family.

Since its grand opening a year ago, the Yarrabilba Neighbourhood Centre has become a bustling shopping destination with Café 63, Anytime Fitness, Harmony Childcare, Rainbow Bakery, newsagency, Boho Boutique Hair Salon and Gold Class Nails creating the ultimate live, work, play environment.

In exciting news, the Neighbourhood Centre has also recently welcomed Sushi Paradise, Guru Fine Indian Cuisine and Meridian Medical Aesthetics to the community.

“Yarrabilba has such a beautiful community feel and has seen such a huge growth in the last few years. I live nearby and have started my own family,” said Meridian Aesthetics Director Jess Horne.

“We offer cosmetic injectables which include antiwrinkle treatment, dermal filler, PDO threads, fat dissolving injectables and bioremodelling treatments.

“We love to enhance each patient's natural beauty with our techniques and love how fresh and confident our patients feel in their own skin when on their journey with us.”

Open for business, Mill St is now home to a Hoppy’s Handwash and Café, Ultratune, My Landscape Supplies and Australian Geotechnical Testing. Down the road, the second Ampol service station with fast food restaurants is now compete and a Kennards Storage is set to open later this year.

“Australian Geotechnical Testing (AGT) at Mill St has been providing exceptional Geotechnical Engineering and Testing services since 2017 and are proud to now be a part of the Yarrabilba community, with our brand new laboratory at 4/40 Mill Street, right in the heart of the Yarrabilba Industrial Precinct.  AGT can assist with site classifications, environmental assessments, compaction testing and so much more.  Check out our full range of services on our website or give us a call on 1300 026 583,” said Marcus Green of AGT.

Hoppy’s Handwash Café Director Ian Healy said the business saw a great opportunity to offer their services to Yarrabilba residents.

“We definitely identified the planned suburban growth of Yarrabilba as something valuable and signed up with the developer at an early stage,” he said.

Also celebrating one year in the community is the modern showroom centre on Wongawallan Drive, which opened their doors in August 2021. The host of new services have included a major fitness franchise, Snap Fitness, Pets Domain, Auto Masters, Crazy Bargains and Cash Converters.

More than 50 shops and businesses now service the region’s fast-growing population, while a future town centre and thousands of new jobs are still to come.
