State-of-the-art Yarrabilba State Secondary College is now open

 

As a fully master planned community there will be a comprehensive range of education facilities offered at Yarrabilba. Already boasting two childcare centres, two primary schools and the brand-new secondary school opened in January 2020, the education facilities offered at Yarrabilba will cater for all ages. Ultimately, Yarrabilba will have a total of 11 schools by government and private education providers.

 

Schools

St Clare’s Catholic Primary School (Combs Street, Yarrabilba) opened its doors to the first cohort of students in Term 1, 2017. The new school will ultimately cater for up to 770 students from grades prep to year six. For more information visit http://www.stclare.qld.edu.au/Pages/default.aspx

There is also a number of primary schools within neighbouring communities; the closest, Logan Village Primary School, is located at Logan Village. 

Primary and secondary schools can also be found a short drive away at Jimboomba, Waterford West, Windaroo, Marsden, Loganlea, Browns Plains, Park Ridge, Bethania, Beenleigh, Cedar Creek and Tamborine Mountain. 

Opening in 2021, San Damiano College will offer affordable, high-quality education within a framework of Catholic values and individual care for every student. Yarrabilba’s newest co-educational secondary school, will open with three classes of Year 7 students before growing by one-year level until its first cohort of Year 12 students graduates in 2026.  While San Damiano College is a Catholic secondary college, students do not need to be Catholic to attend. The school will welcome students from all backgrounds and will promote the values of faith, kindness, honesty and compassion.
