Schools and Education
As a fully master planned community there will be a comprehensive range of education facilities offered at Yarrabilba.
The education facilities offered at Yarrabilba will range from early childcare and learning, to secondary and potentially higher learning. Up to 11 schools by government and private education providers are currently planned.
St Clare’s Catholic Primary School opened its doors to the first cohort of students in Term 1, 2017. The new school will cater for up to 770 students from grades prep to year six.
Yarrabilba State Primary School opened in early 2018, Yarrabilba State High School is expected to open in 2020. A future Catholic secondary school is planned to open in 2022.
There are also a number of primary schools within neighbouring communities; the closest, Logan Village Primary School, is located at Logan Village.
Primary and secondary schools can also be found a short drive away at Jimboomba, Waterford West, Windaroo, Marsden, Loganlea, Browns Plains, Park Ridge, Bethania, Beenleigh, Cedar Creek and Tamborine Mountain.
