The Retreat and Buxton Park

The Logan Urban Design Awards (LUDA) is a biennial Logan City Council event promoting excellence in the design and creation of urban environments in the City of Logan. This year Yarrabilba’s residential address, The Retreat, and our district park, Buxton Park were recognised; receiving the Overall Logan Urban Design Award and the Landscape Architecture and Urban Infrastructure Award. Go for a stroll through and check out the award-winning Buxton Park and The Retreat neighbourhood, located in Buxton Avenue.

Wickham Rise

Our latest land release is in Wickham Rise. This land will be ready to build on once you've settled, so now's the perfect time to get started on your dream home! Enveloped in the lush, green surrounds of Plunkett Conservation Park, Wickham Rise takes full advantage of its mountainous backdrop and views to Wickham Peak. With shops, community facilities, sporting fields and schools right on your doorstep, Wickham Rise provides the perfect balance between nature and every day convenience. With the Yarrabilba Drive extension now open to the public, you can drive through and see Wickham Rise for yourself! And down the track, you'll be a short distance from the future Town Centre!

Sustainable Display Home

Designed by Lendlease and Arkistruct, and built by Access Employment Services, our sustainable display home is open to the public at Yarrabilba, 7 days a week.

The home reflects some of the latest in innovation and technology when it comes to energy efficiency. Designed to take advantage of natural heating and cooling to increase residents’ comfort, reduce and reuse water inside and out, and importantly reduce power consumption, the home has many great features. Combined with the right insulation, design and building materials, and the three-bedroom, two-bath home has earned itself 8.9 out of 10 stars from the National House Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS). Not only will this home save money on your energy bills, but it's also an affordable house & land option for your family.

Meet your neighbour

On Thursday 15th November our Meet your Neighbour event was held in the brand new Family & Community Place (Darnell Street, Yarrabilba). It was a fun packed night and it was great to see so many new residents making new connections and checking out this wonderful new community facility.

If you are a new resident and weren't able to attend, but would like to collect your welcome gift from us, please call into our sales office during business hours and see one of our friendly team!

Our next welcome event will be held in 2019, so be sure to follow Yarrabilba on Facebook.

New Jinnung Jalli Trail

Our newest parkland between The Avenues and Sandstone Ridge is now open. This beautiful linear space provides pedestrian and cycle connections between neighbourhoods as well as helps manage flood and stormwater.

The park also features a native plant trail designed in collaboration with Jabree Ltd, the representatives of the local indigenous group, the Yugambeh people. The trail features native species and interpretive signage that describes the plants’ traditional uses. Explore the Jinnung Jalli Trail to learn about the traditional owners of the land and about Yarrabilba's natural environment. Jinnung Jalli is located in Gossan Circuit, Yarrabilba.

Sandstone Park

Sandstone Park, centrally located within Sandstone Ridge is now open!

This neighbourhood park is the green heart of this address in Sandstone Ridge, with great views across our growing community. It includes a central cluster of well-established native trees and scrub, a new playground, well shaded gathering spots and, like all our other parks in Yarrabilba, free wi-fi.

Sandstone Park retains the naturally occurring rocky outcrops which have become a part of the local character of the neighbourhood. Sandstone Park is located in Slate Street, Yarrabilba, opposite the site of the new state high school set to open in 2020.

Yarrabilba Solar PV Rebate
