Jamie's Ministry of Food (JMOF) coming to Yarrabilba!

Come and learn Jamie Oliver’s tips and tricks to cooking delicious, tasty and affordable meals from scratch. The JMOF program is a hands-on cooking course, using Jamie Oliver’s recipes and his philosophy on cooking fresh, healthy food!

There are two programs on offer – a school holiday 5-day program (90 mins per day) or a 5-week (one class per week) cooking course – the best part is that participants get to take home their handiwork after each session - so for the cost of the course you not only walk away with new skills, you have dinner sorted as well!

The school holiday program (5-day) kicks off in mid-January, costing only $50 for 12-16yrs and $75 for 16yrs+ students. Spots are limited so make sure you register to attend. The 5-week courses commence at the end of January.

For more details on both programs, pricing and to book, visit

Yarrabilba's Electric Bus the first of its kind in Australia

Yarrabilba and Logan Coaches recently launched its first electric bus running on an existing route in Yarrabilba and connecting with surrounding areas! This electric bus is the first of its kind to run on an urban bus route in Queensland, so keep an eye out for it. You probably won’t hear it because it’s electric and therefore very quiet! Passengers who have had the chance to enjoy a ride on the bus have said it’s very comfortable, and with air-conditioning and charging outlets for your phone, it’s also very convenient.
