It’s a dog’s paradise when you live in Springfield Rise!

Springfield Rise residents with a four-legged friend (or two) love living in our community for its close proximity to the great outdoors.

With more than 50 hectares of open space and a carefully planned network of walking and cycling paths, Springfield Rise is the perfect place to keep a dog entertained and well exercised.

We’ve outlined some of the best dog-friendly activities in and around Springfield Rise.

Orion Off Leash Park

Did you know that Springfield is home to Queensland’s only off leash dog park in a shopping centre?

Located at Orion Shopping Centre, the dog park features a giant bespoke dog sculpture, dedicated areas for small and large dogs, drinking fountains and large stretches of grass for your four-legged friend to get in their daily dose of exercise.

After your pooch has had their share of fun, you can pop into Petbarn – also located at Orion Shopping Centre – to give them a well-deserved treat or toy!

It’s also worth noting that Orion has designated dog-friendly zones – Main Street, Town Walk and Fountain Place – so long as your pup is on a leash. Beach House Springfield, Bookface Café and Crema Espresso also welcome dogs in their outdoor areas.

Grande Park at Springfield Lakes

Just a hop, skip and a jump away from Springfield Rise is Grande Park at Springfield Lakes. Grande Park boasts a performance stage, tennis courts with field lights, basketball and netball courts, cycling tracks, public toilets, a well-equipped playground and plenty of open space. Across the road at 57 Grande Avenue is an off-leash dog area – meaning you can keep your fur babies and children entertained all at once! There’s plenty of agility courses for your dog to try their hand (or shall we say paw) at, and shaded seating areas for you to relax in while you keep an eye on your pooch.

Mountain Park at Springfield Rise

Once complete, Mountain Park will be a haven for the whole family to enjoy.

With construction set to commence very soon, Springfield Rise’s four-legged residents will be excited to learn that Mountain Park will feature a dog park with a large turf area and agility equipment.
