The future of Shoreline

The Shoreline community is fast becoming a vibrant, connected community for residents to live well today and tomorrow. Let’s take a look what is on the horizon for Redland Coasts’ largest masterplanned community.

First home buyers through to downsizers are choosing to plant firm foundations in the vibrant Shoreline community, the Redland Coasts’ largest masterplanned community in the growing Redland Bay corridor.

Offering the best in bayside living, the future looks bright for our Shoreline residents with a range of amenities, parks, future town centre, cafes and a new primary school in the pipeline. Let’s take a look at what’s planned for our community.

School’s in for 2024!

In 2024, the school bell will ring for the very first time at Shoreline, as gates open to the new state primary school, situated on Serpentine Creek Road – a short stroll for our Shoreline families.

The Queensland Education Department has stated that the new school, from Prep to Year 6, would increase capacity in the local schooling network and support the future growth of the region. A new childcare centre is opening in Shoreline in the coming years.

Shopping and lifestyle

Shoreline will be home to its very own, state-of-the-art town centre, featuring a range of shops, cafes and restaurants – all in close proximity to the beautiful foreshore and future boardwalks. The lifestyle precinct will be a huge asset not just for residents but the broader Redland Coast region. Situated in the heart of the community, the town centre will be the perfect place to catch up for coffee with friends and neighbours, or enjoy a date night for dinner. Planning for this amazing amenity will begin in the coming years. Watch this space.

Recreation and green open space

Connecting the bush to the bay, Shoreline is continuing to create that harmonious blend of nature and neighbourhood, with 2.8km of bay frontage. Future boardwalks and bike paths will connect residents to the expansive parks, adventure playgrounds and the waterfront and a further 25% of the community will be dedicated to parks and green open space.

The recently opened Jingeri Park has already become a huge hit with local and visitors, featuring an 8.5m high lighthouse structure that reflects the rich history of the Redlands. In the coming years, Shoreline will deliver district sporting fields as well as a linear park and hiking and bike trails.
