Shoreline welcomes approval of Southern Redland Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant
We are thrilled at the Queensland Government’s decision to approve the Southern Redland Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The Southern Redland Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant and wetland combines best available technology with proven environmental science to manage the future needs of Southern Redland Bay in a way that improves Logan River water quality and creates invaluable wildlife habitat.
The $30 million plant unlocks the future development of our Shoreline community including a town centre, foreshore parklands and entertainment precinct as well as regional sport facilities, a new state school plus new and restored bushland corridors and hike and bike trails.
The plant will service approximately 13,500 residents as well as schools, sporting and recreation facilities, local business and public amenities.
