The Pine Valley Proposal

Pine Valley is a proposed community of new, master planned residential neighbourhoods, bushland parks, and protected habitat on 254 hectares of former pine plantation land at Oakey Flat Road, Morayfield.

The vision for the community has emerged from engagement with environmental and wildlife experts as well as local community members and is centred around a community-first mentality, a sense of discovery and encouraging a healthy lifestyle through use of natural bushland settings.

Located approximately 3km from Narangba Valley Shopping Centre and about 16km from the centre of North Lakes, Pine Valley will build on and contribute to the existing amenity in the area.

Open Space

The heart of the public space at Lendlease Pine Valley Community is the central park. This recreational destination surrounds, buffers and protects existing habitat. It combines multiple local parks, activity areas, urban and bushland linkages and koala habitat.

This is a unique community open space which responds to the habitat onsite and delivers on what many in the community have told us they expect. Passive and active recreation areas will connect with existing bushland. The Burpengary Creek corridor will foster nature-based leisure, walking, education, biking and play facilities for all ages.

The Central Park concept emerged from our collective design initiative with the Community Environmental Reference Group (CERG - established in 2018).

The Lendlease team is continuing the conversation with the Moreton Bay community about our Pine Valley residential development application and we’re here to provide insights and information into the outcomes so far and to hear more from the community.
