Useful Owner Information & Links
We’ve compiled some handy information that may be useful to you during your build as well as links for future reference.
From the date of settlement from Lendlease, or when you have exchanged contracts on your block of land, you are responsible for the ongoing maintenance and overall general appearance of your block.
We urge you to proactively take all steps necessary (which may include the installation of temporary fencing) to fulfil this obligation and mitigate against any future clean-up costs that may be incurred from any illegal dumping on your lot.
If you discover any waste materials on your block, or have evidence of unlawful dumping, you can report this to Council by downloading the Snap Send Solve app or by contacting Council. Do not disturb or scavenge through the deposited material, as this may compromise future investigations and pose a risk to your health.
Anyone who observes littering or illegal dumping from a registered vehicle may also report the incident to the Department of Environment and Science via the online littering and illegal dumping reporting form or by email to illegaldumping@des.qld.gov.au.
The Kinma Valley Design Guidelines are a useful resource to support home design that is high-quality, sustainable and aesthetically pleasing.
You can also access the Kinma Valley Design Portal to access information relevant to your build, for example, Setback Plans, Survey Plans, As Constructed Plans that provide key information on utilities, Geotechnical Reports etc.
View the Kinma Valley Landscape Design Guidelines here.
The Kinma Valley team has partnered with a local landscaping business, Pro Choice Home and Outdoor, to develop a range of front garden packages to help make the completion of your home that little bit easier. You can learn more about the different landscape packages and pricing here.
