Construction is underway at Kinma Valley! Take a look at what’s been happening.

Hazelwood Stage 1 and 2

Hazelwood - Stages 1 and 2 lots have been levelled and trimmed for installation of retaining walls. Infrastructure works have commenced including electrical road crossings; stormwater; sewer, and water pipes. 

Milestone dates stages 1 and 2 (weather dependant):
Anticipated Registration - April 2024
Anticipated Valuation & Soil test access - Feb/March 2024
Anticipated Power Connection - March 2024
Anticipated Water Connection - Feb 2024

Hazelwood Stage 3 and 4 Image

Existing powerlines have been removed from Hazelwood Stages 3 & 4 for continuation of bulk earth works.

Jacko Place (Future Kinma Valley Boulevard) and Oakey Flat Road Intersection

Traffic controls along Oakey Flat Road have been implemented as works commence to upgrade the intersection at Jacko Place (future Kinma Valley Boulevard). Powerlines have been temporarily relocated to allow for earthworks along the northern boundary of Jacko Place.

Kinma Valley’s permanent Sales and Information Centre will start coming to life with refurbishment works expected to commence in November 2023.
