That’s a wrap for Elliot Springs’ blockbuster movie event!
The stage was set, the music flowing and a delicious selection of food trucks offered feasts to sink your teeth into – what a night! Thank you to our residents, their family and friends and visitors who all gathered for Elliot Springs’ first drive-in movie blockbuster, Encanto.
It was the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind, connect with old friends and disconnect from our busy lives. After the sales sell-out saw tickets for car attendance snapped up in a matter of hours it was wonderful to see young and young-at-heart enjoying the unique drive-in movie experience.
As the sun set and the stars came out, crowds of walk-ins rolled out their rugs and set up chairs ready for the musical entertainment to kick off at 4pm.
Hosting our community’s first moonlight cinema, Lendlease and PUFT Events joined forces to bring the Oscar-worthy fun to our doorstep.
“The success of bubble festival, to the monthly neighbourhood sessions, to now a pop-up drive-in show’s that the Elliot Springs is a community that believes in itself and its residents,” said PUFT Manager Jono Pearson.
“It was wonderful to see a sales sell-out, as people jumped at the chance to enjoy some retro family fun with their friends, family and fellow neighbours… we even welcomed furry friends to come along.”
Enriching our community connection by bringing our residents together, the drive-in movie event was a great excuse to have a night off cooking, eat out with family, meet friends, and even make new ones.
Our next community event will be the Friday Food Trucks on 29th July! We look forward to seeing you there.
