Location, location, location – Elliot Springs offers the best of both worlds
The safety of a connected community, leafy surrounds and location has drawn Townsville family, Shannon Jess and their three children Indie, Sasha and Levi to Elliot Springs, who have recently built their dream home with Michael Case Homes.
Meet your newest neighbours, Shannon, Jess and their children Indie, Sasha and Levi, who have recently built their dream home at Elliot Springs.
Drawn to the location and beautiful natural surrounds, the couple said the build process with Michael Case Homes allowed them to design a home that was a perfect mix of both Shannon and Jess’s individual style.
“The most enjoyable part of building our new home was the design process, picking and choosing our colours and fixtures. It was exciting knowing the end result was moving into a new home with our own personal stamp on it,” said Jess.
“My previous home was very hippy/bohemian and an eclectic style, whereas Shannon likes a more Hamptons style. We met in the middle somewhere and our new home in Elliot Springs has been designed as coastal boho.”
“I drew inspiration from Josh and Elyse’s home on The Block TV show, and Michael Case Homes’, Pavilion and Capri display home styles. I’m obsessed with our entryway and ensuite! What I love about our ensuite, is the freestanding bath and open double shower. Relaxing in the bath with the pendant lights on, just feels like a magical space,” said Jess.
Now living in their newly built home, Shannon and Jess are excited to meet their neighbours and form connections in the local community.
“We are excited to get to know the locals. We love Wadda Mooli Park and now that we are so close, it’s nice to walk there. They have a lot of events at the Community Hub, which are great for small kids.”
“We decided to live in Elliot Springs for the location and the safety of living in an estate. We felt our block has the best of both worlds, being close to the city, but having views of the beautiful mountains, which gives you a sense of seclusion,” said Jess.
“As a family, we love taking our dog for a walk and we are just a stone’s throw from the Billabong Sanctuary, we love to go to and see the crocs,” said Jess.
