Experience the magic of movies under moonlight at Elliot Springs
There’s nothing better than spending an evening under the stars with your favourite film and friends. Round up the troops, including your furry friends, and sit back for our first drive-in movie event to enjoy a screening of the family favourite, Encanto.
The moonlight movie event will be the perfect opportunity to relax, unwind and disconnect from our busy lives. Roll up in your wheels or set up a picnic rug in front of the big screen from 4pm.
As the sun sets and the stars come out, enjoy live music from 4pm accompanied by a tasty bite from our visiting food trucks.
Hosting Elliot Springs first moonlight cinema, Lendlease and PUFT Events are excited to bring the Oscar-worthy fun to our doorstep.
“We’re excited about bringing the old-school drive-in experience with the family-favourite flick that the whole family can sing along to,” said PUFT Manager Jono Pearson.
“This is the perfect opportunity for a family night out where everyone will be off their phones, a date night with a twist, or even a catch up with friends we haven’t seen for a while.
“We’re so excited that Elliot Springs has the same vision as PUFT Events, to bring some retro family fun to the people of Townsville. This includes bringing along your furry friends, as dogs are welcome too.”
The drive-in movie will be a free event, with food for purchase from the roving food trucks.
Enriching our community connection by bringing our residents together, the drive-in movie event is a great excuse to have a night off cooking, eat out with family, meet friends, and even make new ones. We can’t wait to see you there!
WHEN: Saturday, 9 July
TIME: Cars can arrive from 4pm, live music commences from 4pm, movie starts from 6pm.
WHERE: Wadda Mooli Park
COST: Free, however cars must register for a ticket to help us with marshalling and safety requirements
