It’s the year of festival family fun at Elliot Springs
It’s a new year and at Elliot Springs we are back bigger and better with a rolling calendar of events, featuring new themes, more food trucks and more activities and entertainment for the whole family!
Mark your diaries and get ready for a rolling calendar of exciting events in 2023, with more opportunities to immerse yourself in our vibrant community and connect. They’ll be a great excuse for residents and their friends from all over Townsville to come together, have a night off cooking and enjoy beautiful Wadda Mooli Park under the stars.
Bubbles in the Bush
In honour of Parks Week, Elliot Springs’ very first festival event for the year, Bubbles in the Bush, will take place on Friday, 24th March at Wadda Mooli Park.
Hosted by Lendlease and Puft Events Townsville, this is the perfect opportunity a range of tantalising foods from across the globe. Bring your picnic rug and appetite and get set for an evening of live entertainment, roving characters, activities, an oval of food trucks of course…. bubbles!
Catering for the young and young at heart, this laid-back evening is the perfect opportunity to switch off from the busy work week, while the kids are entertained with activities, bubble themed roving characters and lots of giveaways.
Also coming in 2023!
Leaving behind Summer and moving into the cooler months will see the first Glow Festival, with the park lit up with LED lights and glow paints. July will satisfy every sweet tooth with a mouth-watering Dessert Festival. Finishing off 2023 on the right note will be Elliot Springs Welcome to Summer Festival in November.

Did you know, the foundation for establishing a connected community starts with the simple act of strangers becoming neighbours and then streets becoming an inclusive village that supports and looks out for one another?
Why is being a good neighbour so important!
Forming connections with your future neighbours provides a supportive circle of friends who can help you and your family out when you move into Elliot Springs. Who doesn’t love a Saturday afternoon BBQ with the neighbours after a long working week?! Knowing your neighbours also proves helpful if you go away on holiday. Residents can feel comfortable knowing when they leave, there is something looking after the house, putting out the bins or collecting mail.

At Elliot Springs, there are many activities, events and resident led projects to get involved with to make you feel part of our local community. It’s also a great opportunity to connect and form friendships with other residents.

Get ready, set and lace up those running shoes for the annual 2023 Bindal Ridge Fun Run. In its third year running, this is an amazing, fun community event that caters for all people, no matter your fitness level. The date for this exciting event will be announced in the coming months.
