The Elliot Springs Bubbles in the Bush event was a glowing success
Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles! They came, they saw, they had a bubble of a time, as 5,000 Elliot Springs residents and the wider Townsville community celebrated the 2023 Bubbles in the Bush and Glow Festival.
It was a sky full of bubbles as our Elliot Springs residents, family, friends and the wider Townsville region celebrated the 2023 Bubbles in the Bush and Glow Festival at Wadda Mooli Park on Saturday, 27 May.
Back bigger and brighter than ever, 5,000 people came along for an evening of live music, food trucks, kids entertainment, roving entertainers, glow sticks and of course..magical, bubble fun!
Hosted by Lendlease and PUFT Events Townsville, it was the perfect opportunity for residents to connect with their fellow neighbours and take a night off cooking, all while the kids were entertained with some bubble fun!
It was also great to see thousands of Townsville locals visit Elliot Springs, which was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our picturesque, family-friendly neighbourhood.
The festivities didn’t stop at bubbles alone, The Glow Festival added an extra layer of magic to the evening, transforming the park into a vibrant wonderland of colour. From LED lights to glow paints, it was great to see young and young-at-heart get involved in the festival fun.

While the glow may have faded from the festival celebrations, we are excited to launch Elliot Springs very first Dessert Festival in September.
Ideal for every sweet tooth, the mouth-watering event will feature a range of delicious desserts to sink your teeth into. Keep your eyes peeled on our Facebook page as we share more details in the coming months.

Grab the kids, neighbours and friends and head to Wadda Mooli Park, an all-inclusive playground with a 10m high tree house.
The Junior sports field is a great spot to get outdoors, stretch the legs and enjoy our great outdoors. There is also a learn to ride area, basketball hoop and dog off-leash park.
