
Bindal Ridge Fun Run returns to Elliot Springs for third year ‘running’
The Bindal Ridge Fun Run, now in its third year, returns to Elliot Springs Sunday, October 15, promising an exhilarating morning of fitness, fun, and community spirit.
Led by Queensland Country Women’s Association (ACES) in partnership with Townsville Road Runners, participants can choose between the challenging 5km trail up Bindal Ridge, offering breathtaking views, or a leisurely 3km stroll on flat terrain.
The Bindal Ridge Fun Run has become a cherished tradition, uniting people from all walks of life. Whether you're a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or simply someone who loves to be part of a vibrant community event, this day is designed for you.
The event will kick off with a lively warm-up at 7am to get everyone in the spirit. There is also a swag of prizes up for grabs for showcasing your best-dressed style (or your furbaby’s best dressed style) as well as titles such as King and Queen of The Springs.
Not to mention the amazing view at the top of the Bindal Ridge, taking in Cape Cleveland and out to Maggie.
On completion, there will be a breakfast waiting for you and a goody bag. Newly opened Happy Vibes Café will be on hand to serve up the caffeine and more sweet treats.
Registration is open now, tickets start from $11.35, and participants are encouraged to secure their spots early to avoid missing out on this remarkable event.
