Elliot Springs Community Grants Program

Recognising the importance of building vibrant communities at a grass roots level, the Elliot Springs Community Grants Program acknowledges the pivotal role of community groups in shaping our evolving community. 

Open to eligible not-for-profit community groups and organisations, the program looks to support initiatives which foster social, environmental and economic outcomes for the Elliot Springs community.

The roving library service makes a fortnightly stop at Elliot Springs Community Hub on Elliot Springs Blvd, giving residents in the area the chance to borrow books and items from Citylibraries’ Library of Things from 11am to 1pm every second Wednesday.

Community Meeting Space at The Hub

The Hub is your local community facility, featuring meeting and events space – a place for local not for profits, community groups, small businesses and residents to utilise - managed and run by Queensland Country Women's Association (ACES).

Room includes seating/tables/air conditioning/kitchen area/fridge/sliding doors. Storage area also available for regular users. The Hub opens onto Wadda Mooli Park at Elliot Springs. Access to ambulant and disabled toilet facilities (includes nappy change area).

Community space bookings available 7 days. Viewings welcome. Hourly hire is $8/hour for community/not for profit users and $20/hour for casual users (birthday parties, events, business bookings).

Elliot Springs Community Garden

Elliot Springs Community Hub is home to a community garden for all to enjoy. Feel free to take what you need, plant something new and help water our community garden. It is also co-located with a native bee hive and a blue buddy bench.

The community garden was kindly donated by the QCWA ACES with the support of a community grant. 

The garden is located beside the Community Hub building at 2 Elliot Springs Blvd, Julago QLD 4816.
